Well, Hello You. I must say, life has been exciting lately. You too? Well it all started when some friends and I accidentally went to the Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival. Good Funnel Cakes. Then our apartment decided to test out it's heating system. It works. Then one of my roommates left the oven on. I have lost my sense of security here. Well, not quite. I was the only waitress at work today, so of course, most of GR decided to stop in. I taught crafts to little kids this evening at VBS and then purchased the coolest pen at staples(who apparently changed it's slogan). O, and somewhere in the the creepy guy in my photo class asked me to pose nude for him. The answer: NO! I am not a model. RRrrrr. I'm still a bit aggravated. So, that's not all, but it's all I'm typing. I think God is trying to remind me that He's in control. I don't know where I'm going, what I'm doing, or what the destination is, but I guess I just live for God's glory. That's all. Live for the glory of God. Tell me about yourself. What has been your favorite part of this summer? I'd like to know.

I leave in the morning for Galena, Illinois. My brother's wedding is Saturday evening. Should be cool. I get to wear a cute dress. I'm missing camp like crazy lately. It's hard to be so far away and not be able to go up there because of my job. Quite disappointing. Well, all of it is for a reason. I'm attempting to trust God. It's tough. Have a faaaantastic day y'all!

My gas light went on in my car, so I took it to auto zone to have them
check the code, which informed me that there was a major gas leak,
usually indicating something wrong with the gas cap, and yes, there was
something wrong... it wasn't there! I lost it. I'm not sure that I have
ever felt more silly that I did at this moment. Luckily, I got a new
one for just over $5.00 and it is red, much more memorable than the
previous black one. :)
* It can take up to 75,000 trees to produce one Sunday edition of the New York Times.
* It is estimated that grocery bags can take between 20 - 1,000 years to break down, endangering wild animals in the process.
Now I'm not about to go all crazy environmentalist on you, but can we all do at least one thing to be responsible citizens of Earth? Glorify our creator by showing responsibility and appreciation. I ordered some reusable grocery bags.
I'm reading a book of poetry that is a collection of poems written in response to the Vietnam war.
